Comedian Katt Williams was arrested for burglary and criminal trespassing in Georgia on Sunday, after allegedly breaking into a home.

According to The Associated Press, Williams is expected to go before a judge on Monday afternoon (November 9) to answer to charges. The “Wild ‘N Out” alumnus, who has made appearances in movies alongside Ice Cube and Eddie Murphy, is in custody at a facility in Coweta County, Georgia. A representative with the prison would only confirm to MTV News that Williams was being held on felony and misdemeanor charges.

The comedian has exhibited unusually erratic behavior in the past year, beginning with a string of puzzling public appearances, before Williams was admitted to a psych ward in South Carolina last November.

Prior to his hospitalization, Williams was arrested on gun charges in New York and then performed at Carnegie Hall hours later. He also missed scheduled hosting duties at the 2008 BET Hip-Hop Awards and an appearance on “Late Night With Conan O’Brien.”

A representative at the time cited Williams’ schedule as a reason for his behavior, saying the comedian was fatigued. Contacted by MTV News on Monday, that same rep said she no longer represents Williams.

Stroller company Maclaren USA announced a huge stroller recall this morning affecting more than 1 million strollers after a dozen reports of children’s fingertips being amputated when they put their hands into a side hinge.

Wow, Johnny Damon has stolen two bases on a single pitch. Nobody in baseball has ever seen such a thing.

It definitely helped the Yankees to take a 3-1 series lead against the Phillies in this year’s World Series. None of the players or managers had ever watched a player do that before. Was Damon being courageous or just lost his mind for a second? I guess we’ll never know. It definitely gave his team the spark they needed to win the game.

Colin Farrell now has a baby boy to add to his fledgling family.

A spokeswoman for the 33-year-old Irish-born actor said Friday that Farrell and Polish actress Alicja Bachleda welcomed son Henry Tadeusz Farrell on Oct. 7. The couple met while filming Ondine.

Farrell has a 6-year-old son, James Padraig Farrell, with model Kim Bordenave. Farrell won a Golden Globe earlier this year for his role as a hit man in In Bruges.

Dennis Hopper has been diagnosed with prostate cancer.

The well-known American actor is canceling all travel plans to focus on treatment. Manager Sam Maydew says the 73-year-old actor and artist is being treated through a “special program” at the University of Southern California. Asked about Hopper’s prognosis, Maydew said, “We’re hoping for the best.”

Hopper has acted in 200 movie and television productions. Some more notable parts he has played were in Hoosiers, Speed and 24.

The Kansas City Chiefs have suspended Larry Johnson until Nov. 9th for “conduct detrimental to the club,” the team said Wednesday.

Johnson had been ordered to stay away from training and team activities on Tuesday while the club and the NFL investigated alleged comments made by the player.

According to the Kansas City Star, Johnson posted gay slurs, directed at Chiefs coach Todd Haley, on his Twitter feed hours after Sunday’s 37-7 loss to the San Diego Chargers. He also used gay slurs when speaking with the press as well.

Rapper 50 Cent says his new feature film directorial debut, “Before I Self Destruct,” will be screened in 10 U.S. cities next month.

Fans can download tickets for the screenings at MovieTickets.com, Interscope Records said Thursday.

“Inspired by 50 Cent’s latest album of the same title, ‘Before I Self Destruct’ is a gritty 90-minute film, written, directed and starring Curtis Jackson — a.k.a. 50 Cent,” the record label said.

“The film is a coming-of-age story about an inner-city youth raised by a hardworking single mother. When his dream of becoming a basketball player fails to materialize after his mother is tragically gunned down, Clarence, played by Jackson, is consumed by revenge and takes up a life of crime in order to support his younger brother.”

The album and film will be released as a set by Shady/Aftermath Nov. 23.

We have the video of Cliff Lee’s “Who Cares” catch from last night’s World Series game one.

A lot of spectators couldn’t believe the way pitcher Cliff Lee caught the fly ball with a “devil may care” attitude. The pressure did not seem to touch him one bit.

The same goes for his pitching. He pitched all nine innings only giving up one run and six hits to the Yankees and threw ten strikeouts. He lead his team to victory and didn’t make a big scene when the game was over. Lee just casually walked down field and high fived the catcher like it was an office softball game or something.

Lee even had an amazing behind the back catch against the Yankees.

A man was fired over a God button he decided to wear while working at Home Depot.

The man named Trevor Keezer from Miami wore a pin on his uniform that had an American flag and read “One Nation Under God Indivisible”.

Trevor had worked at that store as a cashier for over a year while wearing the button. Then one day when Trevor had brought his bible to read at lunch time, his manager approached him and threatened him:

“…I was told it had to come off, or I would be sent home. So they sent me home for six straight days without pay. And then today they terminated me.”

Keezer says wearing the pin is his way of showing support for the troops overseas, including his brother, Army Spc. Steven Keezer Jr.

Home Depot defends the manager’s actions:

“The company’s dress code policy states that we do not allow non-company buttons, regardless of their message or content.”

The Home Depot pins had messages such as “United We Stand” but nothing mentioning God.

“…you can’t have country without God. Every pin they showed me had no ‘God’ on it or anything.”

This week, it was announced that Keezer plans to sue the company. His lawyer says that the dress-code policy had never really been enforced fairly, and that other employees wore their own buttons.

The two kids from “Slumdog Millionaire” risk losing their monthly stipend and trust fund due to truancy.

The children’s parents said the absences were due to deaths in the family and other problems and promised to get them to school from now on.

“Slumdog” director Danny Boyle and producer Christian Colson said in a statement that the children’s families “need to honor their part of the bargain.”

“We are disappointed that Azhar and Rubina’s school attendance remains patchy. We have urged both families to honor their commitment to ensure regular school attendance,” they said. The filmmakers were in Mumbai to discuss future film projects and charity work.

The kids have also been traveling all over Europe, this has harmed there attendance and could be avoided by going on the weekend rather than weekdays.
