7 Patty Whopper: Windows 7 Burger King Promotion

Microsoft has partnered with Burger King to launch the 7 patty whopper in Japan to celebrate the launch of Windows 7 in the country. It makes many ask if partnering to offer a bloated burger is really the right message for Microsoft to send after the failures of the bloated Vista offering. To add to the craziness, it was offered for 777 yen (roughly $8.4 dollars). Many in Japan, a country known for it’s healthy eating, are not receptive to the distinctly American offering, complaining of excessive grease, and the unhealthy nature of the product. The burger is a shocking 2500 calories, and to put that in perspective the daily recommended calorie intake for the average adult is about 2500 calories per day. Not per meal.
